How do I hide my Photos and Videos from Android Gallery?

Please provide a step by step guide.

    Follow the steps below:
    (Please make sure you’ve installed an advance file manager; example ES File Explorer or something similar. Default Android File Manager isn’t recommended).

    • Locate the folder that hosts (contains) your media (photos/videos to hide) in your file manager interface.
    • Long press the folder and select “Rename” or “Edit” > “Rename“.
    • Add a dot/full stop (.) to the beginning of the folder’s name (example: “Gallery” to “.Gallery
    • Refresh your files.
    • When you go to your Android Gallery, those media files should be hidden.

    NB: For some devices, you have to reboot (turn device off and then on) after all the steps above before the changes will take effect.
